Citroën boosts Trafford’s team - 09/09/2008
Trafford Council in Manchester is now taking delivery of 56 new Citroën commercial vehicles, which have been supplied as part of a 10-year contract with local authority fleet management specialist provider, TransLinc.

Crown Records Management (UK & ireland) has taken delivery of its first Smith’s Edison electric transit van. Supplied by Direct Asset Management the van is adapted to run on battery power only. It has a range of 80-100 miles between charges and is ideally suited to inner city deliveries.
Nottingham firm replaces fleet - 09/09/2008
Nottingham City Homes is taking delivery of more than 300 Citroen Dispatch and Relay vans to replace its entire LCV fleet. Supplied by dealer Springfield Motor Group, the majority of the vans are Relay 35 L3H2 vans with the 120hp engine. There are also a number of conversions, including Luton vans, tippers and dropside trucks, along with 100 Dispatch L1H1 vans.

Tony Lewis has joined Nissan from LDV, as the new LCV sales and marketing director.
Mitsubishi launches hybrid test - 09/09/2008
Mitsubishi Fuso has launched its largest hybrid fleet test in Europe, with 10 Canter Hybrids being used by eight customers. The goal of the three year test is to gain new insights into the use of 7.5 tonne hybrid trucks and to demonstrate the diesel-electric drive’s high level of efficiency.
